PUCHONG April 25, 2026 – More than 5,000 people filled the venue for the Selangor Bangkit Bersama Rocket DAP Bandar Kinrara Fundraising Dinner held here last night, demonstrating strong grassroots support for the Democratic Action Party (DAP) ahead of upcoming political battles.
Digital Minister and DAP National Chairman Gobind Singh Deo, who is also the MP for Damansara, addressed the packed hall and reiterated the party’s unwavering commitment to justice and institutional reforms.
“DAP’s stance has always been consistent in fighting for justice for all Malaysians,” Gobind said in his speech. “This includes various institutional reform efforts to ensure a better future for every citizen.”
He stressed that the DAP remains determined to serve as the voice that channels the people’s demands for reform directly to the highest levels of government.
“All of us must continue working hand in hand to ensure that all promises of change are fully implemented,” he added.
The event, held under the theme “Selangor Bangkit Bersama” (Selangor Rises Together), featured vibrant displays of DAP’s rocket symbol and the colours of the party. Attendees included party leaders, grassroots members, and supporters waving flags and banners.
Gobind’s remarks come as the DAP continues to push for reforms under the Malaysia MADANI framework, with the party positioning itself as a key driver of change in Selangor and nationally.
The successful turnout is seen as a strong show of unity and readiness, with many chanting “Pasti Menang” (Surely Win) as the evening progressed.
