KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA March 4, 2026 – Malaysia Airlines has announced the temporary resumption of return services to and from Jeddah (JED) and Madinah (MED) from March 4 to 8, 2026.
The national carrier had suspended these services since February 28, 2026, due to airspace closures in parts of the Middle East.
“Malaysia Airlines will temporarily resume return services to and from Jeddah (JED) and Madinah (MED) from 4 to 8 March 2026, following the earlier suspension of services from 28 February 2026 due to airspace closures in parts of the Middle East,” the airline stated in an official announcement posted on X today.
Services to Doha (DOH) remain suspended until March 7, 2026, as the airline continues to carefully assess the prevailing security situation.
All other flights, including services to London (LHR) and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), remain on schedule, operating on alternative routings well clear of the affected conflict zone.
Affected passengers are being notified directly and provided with the necessary assistance for alternative travel arrangements.
