PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA February 23, 2026 – The Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) yesterday organised the Majlis Penerapan Nilai-Nilai Murni 2026 with Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail, Minister of Home Affairs, as a continuous effort to strengthen a work culture rooted in integrity, trustworthiness and accountability among ministry personnel.
The ceremony, held in Putrajaya and coinciding with the blessings of the holy month of Ramadan Al-Mubarak, included a recitation of prayers and a tazkirah delivered by Ustaz Marwan Bukhari bin A Hamid, Expert Panel Member for the Development of the Maqasid Syariah Index, Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).
This spiritual session not only ignited a deeper appreciation of noble values but also served as a platform to strengthen brotherhood (ukhuwah) and foster a spirit of unity among KDN staff.
During the same event, Saifuddin, together with the Patron of PUSPANITA Ministry of Home Affairs, presented contributions to ministry staff. He also distributed wakalah zakat contributions to eligible employees.
The organisation of this ceremony reflects KDN’s ongoing commitment to producing ethical, professional and highly-integrity civil servants, in line with efforts to enhance public service delivery to the people and support the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI.
The event was also attended by the senior leadership of the Ministry of Home Affairs, KDN personnel and members of the media.
Saifuddin had previously emphasised the importance of noble values as the core foundation in transforming the public service, especially in the ministry responsible for national internal security and immigration management.
This annual programme is expected to act as a catalyst for improved performance and work discipline across all agencies under KDN throughout 2026.
