PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA February 10, 2026 – The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) today announced that it will publicly disclose investigation recommendations that have yet to be acted upon by enforcement agencies under its oversight.
This measure is intended to strengthen governance and ensure accountability, following a warning from Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who gave agency heads a one-week deadline to fulfil their responsibilities.
EAIC Chairman Tan Sri Dr. Ismail Hj. Bakar stated in the media release that the action aims to uphold the highest standards of justice for all parties and to safeguard the effectiveness of institutions, in line with EAIC’s mandate to the public.
EAIC also stressed that the management of public servants’ conduct must be carried out with discipline and in accordance with established procedures. Every report referred to the disciplinary authority must be processed according to proper disciplinary procedures, and it is the duty of department heads to exercise control and disciplinary oversight over their subordinates, in compliance with Regulation 3C of P.U. (A) 395/1993.
The Commission hopes that all agencies involved will fully cooperate by taking appropriate action and submitting feedback within the stipulated timeframe.
