MALAYSIA, Kuala Lumpur, 17 June 2025 — Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail today commended the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) during its 2024 Excellent Service Awards and Retirement Ceremony, urging its personnel to embrace bold changes and data-driven strategies in the fight against drug abuse.

Speaking at the event, Saifuddin congratulated recipients of the Excellent Service Awards for their outstanding dedication and commitment to public service. He also expressed gratitude to retirees for their invaluable contributions to the nation’s battle against the drug menace.

He stressed the importance of grounding policies, planning, and actions in accurate, detailed, and up-to-date data, urging AADK to confront ground realities head-on.
“Read the signals from the data and formulate solutions that truly address society’s needs,” he added.
Acknowledging the challenges of the task, Saifuddin expressed confidence that collective effort, evidence-based strategies, and unwavering commitment could deliver greater impact.
He called on AADK personnel to serve with the MADANI spirit—upholding integrity, empathy, and courage to evolve.
