KOTA KINABALU, SABAH, MALAYSIA Nov 9, 2025 – UMNO President and Barisan Nasional (BN) Chairman, Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, today officially launched the Barisan Nasional Sabah Machinery in Kota Kinabalu, marking the start of a massive grassroots movement to revive the coalition’s strength in this land full of hope.
In an event attended by thousands of supporters, the hall was flooded with a sea of blue, the signature color of BN, symbolizing unity and hope. Zahid, who was warmly greeted with cheers, stated that this launch is not just a ceremonial event, but a turning point to restore the confidence of the people of Sabah in BN as the pulse of development and stability.
“I have launched the Barisan Nasional Sabah Machinery, marking the beginning of a great people’s movement to revive BN’s strength in this land full of hope,” said Zahid in his passionate speech. He described the atmosphere in the hall as a reflection of the true spirit of struggle that has never faded, despite being tested by past challenges.
According to Zahid, BN has proven its track record as the main contributor to Sabah’s progress – from building infrastructure like roads and schools, to developing villages and towns based on love for the people. “From roads to schools, from villages to towns, all are the result of hard work and sweat from struggles rooted in love for the people,” he emphasized, urging supporters to continue fighting with sincere hearts.
This launch is seen as a strategic step for BN to face upcoming political challenges, with Zahid confident that the spirit is now reigniting. “BN Sabah emerges with a new face, new energy, and great hopes to restore the people’s confidence and build a more prosperous and united future for Sabah,” he said, adding that Insya-Allah, this movement will yield positive results.
Zahid concluded his speech with an iconic struggle motto: “Insya-Allah, we will continue to march with one determination – Radu tatap radu, radu sampai menang! For the people, for Sabah, and for a brighter future under the Barisan Nasional banner!”
The event was also witnessed by key BN Sabah leaders and supporters from various backgrounds, who expressed confidence that this launch will strengthen the coalition’s position in the state. BN is expected to expand its campaign efforts immediately after this, focusing on development issues and Sabah’s economic stability.
