KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA Oct 21, 2025 – The handover ceremony for the position of Chief of the Kuala Lumpur Police Special Branch took place officially this morning at the Media Center, Headquarters of the Kuala Lumpur Contingent Police, witnessed by Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, CP Dato’ Fadil bin Hj. Marsus.
The event began with the singing of the national anthems “Negaraku” and “Sang Saka Biru”, followed by the recitation of the Rukun Negara pledge and a prayer, marking the transfer of duties from DCP Datuk Fazlisyam bin Abd Majid to his successor, SAC Zulkifli bin Arin.
During the signing and handover of the duty transfer documents, CP Dato’ Fadil commended the commitment of the outgoing branch chief throughout his tenure. He also extended a warm welcome to SAC Zulkifli as the new leader, expressing hopes for the continued effectiveness of special branch operations.
The ceremony was attended by senior officers, including DCP Dato’ Mohamed Usuf bin Jan Mohamad, Deputy Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, along with department heads, district police chiefs, senior and junior police officers, and civil servants.
This transition is expected to bolster the Kuala Lumpur Police’s organizational structure in addressing key urban security challenges.
