KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 23, 2025 – The Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ), CP Datuk M. Kumar S. Muthuvelu, conducted a courtesy visit to the U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur yesterday, engaging with Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. David “Chip” Gamble. The meeting underscored a mutual commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in security, with a particular focus on combating cross-border crime.

Held on Monday, the discussion provided a platform for both parties to address emerging challenges in transnational crime, enhance legal frameworks, and explore joint enforcement initiatives. Key topics included the evolving landscape of global criminal activities and strategies to bolster collaborative efforts.
Accompanying CP Datuk M. Kumar were senior JSJ officials, including Deputy Director (Forensic/Strategic Planning) DCP Datuk Dennis Lim Kwang Keng, Deputy Director (Investigation/Legal) DCP Datuk Mohamad Zainal Haji Abdullah, Deputy Director (Intelligence/Operations) DCP Datuk Mohd Sukri Kaman, and Head of the Sexual, Women, and Children Investigation Division (D11), JSJ Bukit Aman, SAC Siti Kamsiah Hassan.
