CHONGQING, China, Sept 20, 2025 — Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Dato’ Sri Fadillah Yusof, expressed awe at Chongqing’s meticulously planned and futuristic urban development during a recent visit to the thriving Chinese metropolis.

Accompanied by a Malaysian delegation, Fadillah toured the Chongqing City Planning Exhibition Hall, a showcase of the city’s transformation from a historic settlement steeped in heritage to a rapidly growing modern metropolis. The exhibition highlighted Chongqing’s future development plans, integrating green technology, smart infrastructure, and sustainable urban design—serving as a model for balancing progress with cultural identity and community harmony.
