KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA Oct 6, 2025 – The Third Meeting of the Fourth Session of the 15th Parliament officially commenced today, serving as the primary platform for the presentation of the 2026 National Budget by the Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

In line with annual tradition, the October parliamentary session has always been a crucial arena for the government to announce the nation’s financial policies. The 2026 Budget is scheduled to be tabled on Friday, October 10, 2026, where the Madani Government is expected to emphasize administrative reforms aimed at enhancing public welfare, strengthening the economy, and advancing the country.
Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, the Minister of Home Affairs, stated that this budget will continue to demonstrate the government’s commitment to effective structural changes. “Insya-Allah, the Madani Government will continue to manifest its commitment to administrative reforms to improve public welfare, strengthen the economy, and advance the nation through the planning of the 2026 Budget,” he said in a posting on X today.
He also pledged to share the achievements of reforms in the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) driven by the 2025 Budget in upcoming posts. “In upcoming posts, I will share several achievements of the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) reforms that have been driven through the 2025 Budget, insya-Allah,” added Saifuddin.
The Minister invited the public to follow the parliamentary debates this session through the official channels of the Malaysian Parliament to ensure broader public engagement. The session is expected to discuss various national issues, including post-recovery economic challenges and sustainable development initiatives.
