KOTA KINABALU, Malaysia, July 3, 2025 — A total of 507 recipients were honored with the Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (APC) and Sijil Khas Kecemerlangan at the 2024 Excellence Awards Ceremony for the Malaysian Home Ministry (KDN) departments and agencies in Sabah last night.

Malaysian Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail emphasized KDN’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, not only through robust systems but also through sustainable values that enhance public trust in civil service.
“The true measure of excellence lies not in numbers or praise alone, but in how effectively our services reach the people—swiftly, accurately, and with empathy, addressing their needs successfully,” he said.
Highlighting KDN’s pivotal role in ensuring national security and public order, Saifuddin stressed that efficient service delivery is not optional but a sacred trust. “With outstanding civil servants like those celebrated tonight, I am confident this trust is in capable hands,” he added.
The ceremony underscores KDN’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its service delivery framework and uphold public confidence in governance.
