PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia, Sept 22, 2025 – Starting September 30, all Malaysians will enjoy the new price of RON95 petrol at RM1.99 per liter. This price will be accessible using MyKad at counters and pumps, or through fuel station applications.
As an early appreciation, police and military personnel will benefit from this price starting September 27, followed by Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) recipients on September 28.
This bold move by the MADANI Government comes amidst uncertain global economic conditions, demonstrating the government’s commitment to easing the burden on the people.
“This initiative is the highest tribute to Malaysians who continue to work hard and share the MADANI Government’s determination to drive the nation’s economic growth. Our success today is the result of the unwavering resilience of the people,” said Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim in an official statement today.
This measure is expected to positively impact the cost of living for Malaysians while supporting national economic recovery efforts.
