LONDON December 31, 2025 – Reform UK leader Nigel Farage delivered a stark New Year’s address on Tuesday, declaring that his party represents the “last chance for Britain” amid what he described as unprecedented national gloom.
Standing in a formal suit against a backdrop featuring historic architecture and the London skyline at dusk, Mr Farage painted a pessimistic picture of the country’s state as 2025 ends.
“As 2025 draws to a close, I can’t remember the country ever being gloomier,” he said. “People are getting poorer. More people are becoming unemployed.”

“And we are genuinely the last chance for Britain,” he concluded.
