KOTA KINABALU, SABAH, MALAYSIA January 1, 2026 – The Sabah Youth Council (MBS) has announced its new leadership lineup for the 2025–2027 session following elections held during the 28th Annual General Assembly Meeting (MPAT) on 30 December 2025.
The election process was conducted lawfully and democratically, reflecting MBS’s commitment to youth democracy practices, organisational transparency, and integrity in determining the direction of youth leadership at the state level in Sabah.
Congratulations are extended to the President, Deputy President, Vice Presidents, Secretary-General, Treasurer-General, and all newly elected Working Committee Members. This mandate carries great responsibility in continuing efforts to empower the voice of youth, drive inclusive youth development, and strengthen the role of youth as strategic partners in state and national development.
At the same time, the highest appreciation and thanks are also expressed to the previous session’s leadership for their services, contributions, commitment, and sacrifices in leading and empowering the youth movement in Sabah. The legacy left behind serves as an important foundation for leadership continuity and organisational progress.
It is hoped that this new leadership will bring fresh energy, authoritative leadership, and progressive ideas to ensure the Sabah Youth Council remains relevant, dynamic, and a unifying platform for youth from diverse backgrounds in Sabah.

MBS, established in 1994, is the umbrella body for various youth organisations in Sabah and continues to play a vital role in the development of the state’s younger generation.
