TAWAU, SABAH, MALAYSIA December 13, 2025 – The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) has announced the rollout of the Program Jualan RAHMAH MADANI (PJRM) Back to School 2026, aimed at providing affordable school essentials to families preparing for the new academic year.
In line with the MADANI Government’s Budget 2026 allocation of RM300 million for the Payung RAHMAH initiative, KPDN is expanding the PJRM to include targeted enhancements for broader reach and improved accessibility. The Back to School edition is specifically timed to coincide with the school holiday period, running from December 20, 2025, to January 11, 2026.

A total of 174 supermarkets, shopping malls, and clothing stores nationwide will participate, offering sales both within their premises and at external locations. Shoppers can expect discounts ranging from 10% to 30% off current market prices on essential school items. The program features 45 to 80 stock keeping units (SKUs), including school uniforms, shoes, bags, and stationery.
KPDN plans to conduct 269 sessions of the PJRM Back to School across the country during this period. The public is encouraged to check the official PJRM calendar at https://www.kpdn.gov.my/ms/jualan-rahmah for specific dates and venues.

Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, highlighted the initiative’s role in supporting families. “This expansion of PJRM underscores our commitment to alleviating the cost of living, especially for back-to-school preparations,” he stated in the ministry’s press release issued from Tawau, Sabah.
The program builds on existing PJRM efforts, which have been a key part of KPDN’s strategy to make essential goods more affordable under the Payung RAHMAH framework. Families are advised to plan their visits early to take full advantage of the discounts during the holiday season.
