KUALA TERENGGANU April 13, 2026 – Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim today held a key meeting with leaders and members of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR/KEADILAN) in Terengganu, urging the party to strengthen its organisation and reconnect deeply with the rakyat through facts, sincere service and clear communication of the MADANI Government’s policies.
In a detailed statement posted on X, Anwar described the gathering as an important platform to assess the party’s journey, rooted in the spirit of *reformasi* and its unwavering commitment to defending the welfare of the people — especially the poor and marginalised groups.
“KEADILAN cannot merely be present; it must penetrate communities with a more impactful approach based on facts, service and sincerity,” he said.
He reminded party members of PKR’s proven historical strength and called for it to be reclaimed by ensuring every area in Terengganu receives proper attention and care. Branch leaders and members must reinforce their organisation, step up fieldwork and personally engage the public with straightforward explanations of government policies.
“The people have the right to know the truth and must not be trapped in fitnah and misleading propaganda spread by the opposition,” Anwar stressed.
He warned against narrow politics that reject facts and promote empty sentiments, instead positioning KEADILAN as a voice of hope that upholds the values of *ihsan* (compassion) and delivers real solutions for the future of Terengganu and the nation.
“Insya-Allah, with firm resolve, solid unity and disciplined action, KEADILAN will once again become the voice that defends and fights for the people of Terengganu,” he concluded.
The Prime Minister’s message was accompanied by four photographs from the event, showing him mingling closely with a large crowd of enthusiastic supporters — many wearing PKR attire — shaking hands, addressing the packed hall, and receiving strong applause. In one image, the audience is seen raising their hands and fists in solidarity while watching Anwar on stage.
