SRLANGOR, MALAYSIA February 7, 2026 – Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim today delivered a strong message of unity, resilience, and unwavering commitment to reform during the KEADILAN Negeri Selangor Convention held in Selangor.
Speaking to party members and supporters, Anwar emphasized that the struggle for reform is not suited for those who remain comfortable or stand on the sidelines. True political change, he said, demands endurance, courage, and the readiness to face relentless attacks and slander.
Anwar highlighted ongoing efforts by certain parties to divide the people along narrow racial and religious lines, aimed at weakening national unity and eroding public confidence. He countered that history shows hatred leads not to unity but to national destruction. Instead, KEADILAN chooses a clear path grounded in the Federal Constitution and principles of justice, embracing all Malaysians as a unified force.
The Prime Minister stressed that the people’s mandate is a sacred trust requiring hard work to build the nation. He called on those who only complain, sulk, or undermine efforts to step aside, allowing disciplined and focused individuals to lead. The fight, he noted, requires discipline and cannot wait for the hesitant.
Anwar reiterated that the **MADANI Government** will not compromise on corruption or misconduct. Current decisive actions stem from the courage to expose and eradicate long-rooted wrongdoing, saving the nation without concession.
He clarified that KEADILAN is not a champion of any single race or religion but a resolute movement for every citizen regardless of background. Success, he said, is measured not by rhetoric or slogans but by real actions to eradicate poverty, protect welfare, and uphold the dignity of the people.
In closing, Anwar presented a clear choice: rise together as a united, disciplined force focused on nation-building, or allow division to weaken Malaysia’s future. He urged KEADILAN Selangor to stand firm—”membujur lalu melintang patah”—to save the nation and its people.
