PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia, Sept 24, 2025– The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP) today handed over a total of RM4.75 million in grants to eight Bumiputera vendors under the Innovation and Commercialization Grant for Vendors (GIPV).

The grant supports the implementation of Industry 4.0 Revolution (IR4.0) technology projects, including the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, import substitution, and reengineering and redesigning.
The handover ceremony was officiated by Datuk Ewon Benedick, Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, during the 2025 Vendor Development Program Grant Presentation Ceremony. GIPV is a key incentive under the Vendor Development Program, aimed at boosting the growth of Bumiputera vendor companies through enhanced innovation, research, and commercialization capabilities, as well as strengthening manufacturing and service operations.
This initiative aligns with the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMKe-13), which focuses on scaling up micro, small, and medium enterprises (PMKS) to strengthen their role in the nation’s socioeconomic development and boost economic growth.
In his speech, YB Datuk Ewon Benedick emphasized that this support is not just financial aid but a strategic investment to develop competitive Bumiputera vendor companies for the global market. He hopes the recipient companies will fully utilize the grant to enhance product and service innovation, solidify their position in a competitive entrepreneurial ecosystem, and drive job creation and national economic growth.
